How much can I charge for my classes, and how long should I make them?
That is totally up to you. One of the great things about our site is that there are all different types of students and teachers registered here. Some students are looking for a bargain and some students are looking for a really good quality lesson and don't mind paying a higher price for it. Our recommendation to you is simply to be fair. If your class length is 45 minutes then base your prices on what you could expect to get paid if you did 45 minutes work in your own country.

Do I have to pay income tax on the money I receive for teaching?
You are paid the full amount for your classes that you stipulate in your profile. No income tax has been deducted. The responsibility to pay the necessary taxes lies solely with you. You should receive advice from a qualified professional in your country as to the taxes that you are required to pay from the income derived from teaching students on our site.
